Amazon Kindle Fire
The Kindle Fire is a 7 inch tablet and was released in November 2011. It is the first Android supported Kindle.

Features:
The Kindle Fire runs on Android Gingerbread 2.3, a heavily customized version at that. It has WiFi and Amazon's new Silk browser, with EC2 processing technology, even though I haven't noticed any difference in browsing speeds.

It also has a Gorilla glass display.
Pros:
·The Fire has a very User friendly interface and has a huge library of music, books, movies and apps to choose from (I can access only books, as the rest aren't available in India.)
·The music player is fast and organised.
·The books can have highlights, notes and so forth to enhance reading experience.
·There is a carousel on the home screen to navigate recent history efficiently

Cons:
·Google apps cannot be installed unless rooted.
·Only 6GB is available for media storage and not extendable without an external HDD.
·Restrictive OS.
Conclusion:
A good tablet overall, a takeaway for 10k.
3.5 stars.
